Multi-Unit Development
We transformed an existing multi-unit property in southeastern San Diego by adding six new accessory dwelling units (ADUs). We remodeled the existing structure to accommodate additional living spaces, updated a single-family dwelling within the property, and built two new two-story buildings.
-
The scope included remodeling portions of the existing multi-unit property to accommodate additional living spaces, as well as updates to an on-site single-family dwelling. New construction consisted of two ground-up, two-story buildings housing a total of six ADUs, each approximately 642 square feet. Work included site preparation, structural construction, exterior finishes, and full coordination of utilities and building systems to support the expanded property layout.
-
The project was planned on an 11-month construction schedule, accounting for both renovation and new construction phases, as well as permitting, inspections, and coordination across multiple structures.
-
The project was designed to deliver six efficiently planned ADUs that integrate with the existing property while significantly increasing unit count and long-term value. Each 642-square-foot unit was configured to provide functional living space and strong rental potential. The overall development approach maximized site density and positioned the property for scalable income generation.
