As co-founder of Bailer Hill Construction, established in 2020, Mike brings over 35 years of experience spanning carpentry, project supervision, and construction management. He entered the field full-time during San Diego's production housing boom of the late 1980s, where he built his foundation as a frame carpenter and completed certifications through both the carpenter's and concrete unions.

After transitioning into supervisory roles in the Bay Area for over a decade, Mike returned to San Diego in 2004 to join KD Development as Head of Field Operations, overseeing multi-family coastal developments. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he managed value-add construction for 157 foreclosed properties through a private equity firm, gaining crucial insight into large-scale operations, development strategy, and the political landscape of construction.

After receiving his contractor’s license, Mike started his own contracting business, and reconnected with Will, whom he met through the private equity firm, to launch Bailer Hill Construction in 2020.

As co-founder of Bailer Hill Construction, Will brings over 22 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and construction industries. His career began as an electrician working for an electrical contractor, where he developed a strong foundation in the technical aspects of building systems. He soon launched his own business, expanding his expertise to include general contracting alongside electrical work.

His path to co-founding Bailer Hill Construction began when he served as the general electrician for his business partner's investment firm projects. This collaboration revealed a shared vision for quality construction and sparked the partnership that would become Bailer Hill. Will utilizes his extensive field experience and technical knowledge to oversee project execution and ensure the highest standards of workmanship.

Will’s passion for construction is being a guiding hand in the transformation process. From demolition of outdated structures to the final moment when new occupants move into a completed building, he finds fulfillment in seeing ideas become functional, beautiful spaces that serve their communities.

As Treasurer and Officer of Bailer Hill Construction, Inc., Monica leverages her extensive background in business operations, finance, and organizational management to support the company’s continued growth and efficiency. Drawing from over a decade of experience managing billing systems, financial reporting, and day-to-day office operations, she plays a key role in establishing the corporation’s structure and ensuring smooth administrative and fiscal performance.

Before joining Bailer Hill Construction, Monica owned and operated her own business, where she delivered full-cycle administrative and billing services from fee scheduling and reconciliations to credentialing and compliance oversight. Her strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to streamline systems were central to the success of her independent practice.

Previously, she served as Office Manager and Billing Specialist at a multidisciplinary medical center, where she directed daily operations, led staff training, and implemented process improvements to enhance workflow and service delivery.

Now, Monica is channeling her organizational and operational expertise toward the construction industry. Her goal is to gain hands-on knowledge in project execution and coordination, with an eye toward advancing into a Project Management role. She is passionate about learning all aspects of construction operations and contributing to the success and integrity of every project Bailer Hill Construction undertakes
